A robust, easy-to-grow item with heads of rustic yellow and bronze and a small basal frill of ruffled petals. The plant has slender, medium-length green leaves but the flower stems themselves are naked. A good all round, hardy plant that is not fussy about where it grows or whether its raining or dry! For maximum blooms dig in some good compost before planting. A great filler, easily self-sows and spreads along the garden bed, not dissimilar to Gaillardia once their petals have dropped. Bees swarm to the flowers. The flowers are a great addition to cut flower arrangements.
