Growing Instructions

E3 Easy Wave Petunia... Early, Efficient, the Evolution of Easy Wave®  Trailing Petunia. At a 10 hour day-length, E3 Easy Wave will be ready earlier than before.  In spring, you are looking at a 6-7 week time frame to plant out from transplant, and in summer just 4-5 weeks!  E3 Easy Wave fulfills the Wave brand promise of "easy spreading colour" with superior performance: a manageable spreading habit, long bloom time and sheer colour value! Avoid wet foliage going into night. Keep well fed for best performance. Occasional cut back will rejuvenate plants. Landscape planting should be held off until after your frost-free date. Baskets and planters should be kept under cover or protected until all danger of frost has passed. In the past we have kept to a minimum offering of the Easy Wave series, as the cost of seed often turns people to what they see as a more economical solution for them.  However, the sheer power and magnificence of these plants far outweighs the cost. E3 Easy Wave Petunia have a mounded, spreading plant habit and will spread anywhere between 64 - 81cm and mound between 15 - 30cm.  These premium plants are robust and floriferous, spaced out in the garden between 25 - 38cm means you can get a great coverage with fewer plants.  In your 38cm hanging baskets, given a little bit of time and patience, one plant will suffice and turn into a beautiful ball of colour. In a hanging basket or mixed planter Easy Wave will beat any 'normal' petunia hands down! E3 Easy Wave flower petals have a shiny iridescent waxy texture, which repels water - therefore reducing chance of disease resistance and increasing the recovery after rain storms. Finally, Easy Wave has excellent salt tolerance, meaning it performs well in coastal plantings as well.
