Beautifully ornamental with a bonus! This vibrant golden-yellow flower measures up to 24cm across and has a contrasting dark disk. It produces very large seeds which are much easier to process. Height is about 150cm
Once flowers have finished and seed heads have dried, keep these aside for yourself or to feed the birds. If you are struggling to de-husk the seed, there is lots of information on the internet with different methods people have used.
Please note also that while this is called a mix, this is a single variety but there may be a variation in flower colour.
This is treated seed due to Biosecurity requirements. This very small amount of treatment will not affect the edibility of the seeds that are subsequently produced from plants grown.
