The lovely perfume of Rocket's flower is only given off in the evening. The leaves of Wild Rocket are used for the same purpose as Salad Rocket. It has a much stronger taste than its close relative, Eruca sativa 'Salad Rocket' and can be easily distinguished by its more deeply divided leaf shape. Wild rocket is a hardy perennial, but is often grown as an annual. It has green, deeply divided aromatic leaves that form a rosette as the plant matures.

Meconopsis Baileyi (Himalayan Poppy) - 30200

Prefers cool locations. Northern regions of NZ are not really suitable unless you have higher altitude or a cool micro-climate. Beautiful sky-blue flower with yellow anthers. A challenge to grow, but well worth the effort. This seed was really hard to source, and so much more expense, but because we've had so many requests for it we've put it back in. Unfortunately this meant we had to cut the seed quantity back and put the price up!

Marigold Luna Yellow F1 Hybrid - 28650

A small-flowered variety that sprouts hundreds of flowers and forms dense, bright yellow carpets of blooms. Luna grows very compact and uniform up to a height of approximately 25cm. The plant roots drive away soil pests and combat the “soil fatigue” caused by nematodes. Unfortunately, they are also the favourite food of snails, so you should protect your marigold from being eaten by them. With this knowledge, however, you can also turn the tables and deliberately lure snails away from other endangered plants with the help of marigolds by making them a “sacrificial plant” at a sufficient distance.

Tomato Eclipse Fireball F1 Hybrid - 62676

The dwarf plants cascade well making it perfect for containers, baskets and small gardens. Most golden tomatoes are low in acid, but not this one! Acid is high, giving a magnificent flavour.
