Marigold Luna Yellow F1 Hybrid - 28650

Unfortunately, they are also the favourite food of snails, so you should protect your marigold from being eaten by them. With this knowledge, however, you can also turn the tables and deliberately lure snails away from other endangered plants with the help of marigolds by making them a “sacrificial plant” at a sufficient distance.

Marigold Whitegold Max - 29875

Extra-Large, tight fully double flowers that are less prone to water damage. All white flowers when fully mature stand atop tall well-branched stems making it a real stand out in the garden. Shorter than French Vanilla this African Marigold is perfect for small pots; many secondary flowers cover the plant making a lush bouquet. Great summer performer.

Marigold Zenith Mixed F1 Hyb - 29900

Large, frilly carnation like blooms in a bright colour range of yellow through to orange. This stunning flower is a cross between an African and French Marigold. As a result, the plant becomes "sterile", consequently producing more flowers as it does not need to spend its energy on seed production.

Marker Pen Fine Nib - 9070

Sharpie Non Fading Marker Pen. Although it must be said even though the manufacturers clam they are non fading, care must be taken when marking labels for an extended period of time. Still these sharpie pens are better than most Excellent for writing on your plant labels.

Matricaria Tetra - 30010

Fully-double dainty, white blooms with a yellow to lime centre. Very productive and right at home among cottage garden or wildflower mixes. Another great attractor of butterflies, bees and beneficial insects. Easy to grow. Suitable for cut flowers; if you want to achieve longer stems and earlier blooms, it is best planted in autumn and "over-wintered" in a greenhouse or similar, as it needs protection from frosts. But sown in early spring it can be grown as an annual, protect with cloche or something similar to avoid any rogue frosts or particularly bad cold spells.

Meconopsis Baileyi (Himalayan Poppy) - 30200

Prefers cool locations. Northern regions of NZ are not really suitable unless you have higher altitude or a cool micro-climate. Beautiful sky-blue flower with yellow anthers. A challenge to grow, but well worth the effort. This seed was really hard to source, and so much more expense, but because we've had so many requests for it we've put it back in. Unfortunately this meant we had to cut the seed quantity back and put the price up!

Medium Propagator Height Extender - 9332

This ingenious product extends the height capacity of the Medium Vented Propagator. Great if you want to keep your plants in the propagator a bit longer, the Extender creates more height, preventing your seedlings becoming misshapen by reaching the top of the propagator lid. No more worrying about starting off the plants too early and not being able to keep them warm if the weather suddenly decides that winter hasn't finished yet. These reasons alone give this product the big thumbs up. Propagator size: 375mmx240mmx100mm. We recommend you wash and disinfect the containers at the end of each season, then store in your shed, garage or wherever is convenient out of direct sunlight.
