Plant grows like a vine and requires staking. This edible version of Snake Gourd - Casper has fruit that weighs approximately 100-150 grams and has a whitish “ghost” appearance to it.
The whole fruit is eaten as a vegetable when young. When mature the soft red tomato like pulp can be used in cooking as a tomato substitute.
